Liner Cementing Across the Wasatch Formation in the Bluebell Altamont Field: A Case Study

Abstract: This paper describes work done in the Bluebell Altamont Field of Northeastern Utah (see fig. 1), with the objective of eliminating poor bonding on liners set in the Wasatch Formation. The Wasatch Formation has posed problems with cementing, as well as drilling, due to the frequency of natural fractures in the zone [2].
