Lipophilicity Modulations by Fluorination Correlate with Membrane Partitioning

Abstract: Bioactive compounds generally need to cross membranes to arrive at their site of action. The octanol‐water partition coefficient (lipophilicity, logPOW) has proven to be an excellent proxy for membrane permeability.
