Abstract:Background: Chorioamnionitis is associated with an increased risk of multiple adverse outcomes in offspring, especially neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), which is one of the serious gastrointestinal diseases in neonates. However, the underlying mechanism remains undefined.
