Literature Review on Knowledge Sharing among University Lecturers

Abstract

Knowledge sharing has been recognized as the most important factor in the success of knowledge management. It determines the development of each organization, of which universities are typical organizations. The new model of knowledge management requires exchange and cooperation among university lecturers, creating a better knowledge-sharing environment for effective knowledge management strategies, and encouraging lecturers to participate in common knowledge-sharing activities. Therefore, the article is aimed at reviewing research works related to knowledge sharing in universities. From there, some suggestions are drawn to improve the efficiency of knowledge sharing, knowledge sharing management, and university effectiveness.
