Locais de atenção à saúde das pessoas em situação de rua: construção de um mapa

Abstract

Introduction: There are several challenges to ensure the rights of people on the street, however the Street Office emerges as an expanded health initiative, with expertise in caring for this population group and sensitivity. Objective: Construct a map that helps locate the points of attention of the homeless persons. Method: This is a descriptive and exploratory research with a qualitative approach carried out in the state capital of Santa Catarina. In order to elucidate the health care points of this population, a map was constructed identifying such locations. Results: Fifteen health care places for homeless persons were found. These sites were described in educational material and available to the health professionals that serve this population, as well as a map that efficiently locates these sites. Conclusion: The construction of the map and the educational material facilitates the attendance to this population, because it elucidates and guides the health care places of the same.
