Location selection of electric vehicles charging stations by using the spherical fuzzy CPT–CoCoSo and D-CRITIC method

Abstract: Location selection of electric vehicle charging stations (LSEVCS) is a complex multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem involving multiple experts and multiple conflicting attributes. Spherical fuzzy sets (SFSs) can deeply excavate fuzziness and uncertainty in MAGDM. In this paper, we first propose some new spherical fuzzy distance measures based on Dice and Jaccard indexes to detect the differences between SFSs or inputs. Secondly, considering risk preferences of decision makers, we integrate cum… Show more

“…Kahneman and Tversky [36] developed CPT, which can reflect decision makers' psychological behavior under risk and uncertainty. It has been successfully applied to fuzzy decision-making problems [37], in which the risk attitude of the decision maker is considered. According to CPT, the integrated prospect value is computed as follows.…”

“…MAGDM is an important component of the decision-making field, mainly solving limited alternative decision-making problems containing multiple attributes [ [29] , [30] , [31] , [32] , [33] , [34] , [35] ]. Its characteristic is to evaluate a limited number of alternative solutions through a certain method based on the evaluation information provided by the DMs, and then obtain a ranking [ [36] , [37] , [38] , [39] , [40] , [41] , [42] , [43] , [44] ]. In the MAGDM process, the evaluation value of the solution is a given value [ 45 , 46 ].…”

“…The performance evaluation of CSR from the perspective of environmental accounting is MAGDM. Recently, the CoCoSo [ [54] , [55] , [56] , [57] , [58] , [59] , [60] ] and CSM [ [61] , [62] , [63] , [64] , [65] , [66] , [67] , [68] , [69] ] was utilized to conduct MAGDM. The IFSs [ [70] , [71] , [72] , [73] ] are an efficient tool for conducting uncertain information during the performance evaluation of CSR from the perspective of environmental accounting.…”

“…Various criteria are mutually restrictive or even contradictory. Relying on decision-makers to make decisions through a single evaluation criterion is meaningless, which has led to more and more scholars dedicating themselves to the study of MCDM [ [41] , [42] , [43] ]. MCDM problems can be divided into two categories: multi-objective decision-making (MODM) problems and MADM problems [ [44] , [45] , [46] ].…”
