Abstract: Purpose: Patients with schizophrenia treated with oral antipsychotics experience increased readmissions to acute care settings despite evidence showing that Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) reduce hospitalizations, emergency visits, and relapses while enhancing medication adherence and cost-savings.
