Abstract:Background:Esophageal carcinoma (ESCA) is one of the most common types of cancer. ESCA is accounted for the sixth leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally. The majority of the patients are diagnosed at late stages of ESCA, with distance metastasis and/or chemoresistance, which lead to a poor prognosis.
