Longitudinal and transverse electron-nucleus scattering form factors ofMg25

Abstract: The one-body density-matrix elements obtained from the USDA Hamiltonian are used to calculate the electronnucleus scattering form factors for the 25 Mg nucleus. The longitudinal form factor calculations produce good agreements for all states in the first sequence whereas the shell-model predictions show a variation in results for the excitation states in the second sequence. The wave functions of radial single-particle matrix elements have been calculated with the Woods-Saxon, harmonic-oscillator, and Skyrme (… Show more

“…For this model space, there are three SPEs and 63 TBMEs which in the mass region of = 16-40 can determine the energies and wave functions for about 106 levels. The calculations were performed by using the OXBASH code for Windows [13,14]. The code uses the M-scheme Slater determinant basis, a projection technique, and wave functions with good angular momentum ( ) and isospin ( ).…”

“…Table 2 and Fig. 1 illustrate a comparison between the theoretical values of energy levels in relation to the ground state of 22 F isotope (using CWH potential) and the available experimental values [18][19][20][21][22][23][24]. After examining the energy levels of 22 F by applying the nuclear shell model of the reaction CWH, it was found that: (1).…”
