Abstract: Introduction. Longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) has four main causes: inflammatory, malnutrition, vascular, and infectious causes. Among the commonly described viral causes leading to LETM are the Herpesviridae family, HIV, and HTLV‐1. Case Presentation.
