Abstract:Love in the Time of Cholera (1988) deals with the theme of love. In this novel, Garcia Marquez has represented love in various scenarios and through different characters. The novel projects every kind of love, such as; parental love, love for the opposite sex, and domestic love, yet love is not projected as a sweet and subtle emotion.
