Low-Complexity Signaling-Embedded Preamble Design Based on Relative Subcarrier Position

Abstract: Preamble is widely used for initial synchronization and signaling transmission in wireless broadcasting systems. The second-generation terrestrial digital video broadcasting standard (DVB-T2) defines the preamble using several orthogonal sequences to convey the signaling, which yields high complexity due to the large number of required sequence correlations at the receiver.
