Low microRNA150 expression is associated with activated carcinogenic pathways and a poor prognosis in patients with breast cancer

Abstract: Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer amongst women worldwide, and numerous microRNAs (miRNAs/miRs) are involved in the initiation and progression of breast cancer. The aim of the present study was to identify hub miRNAs and determine the underlying mechanisms regulated by these miRNAs in breast cancer. Breast invasive carcinoma transcriptome data (including mRNAs and miRNAs), and clinical data were acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. Differential gene expression analysis, co-expression n… Show more

“…According to the study of Zhu Mengkai and Yao Cuiluan, low temperature at 15℃ and high temperature at 31 and 35℃ can signi cantly increase the content of O2-in hepatopancreas of Litopenaeus vannamei [16]. Wang Yun et al found that after 6h of 8mg/L ammonia nitrogen stress, T-AOC in hemolymph of Fenneropenaeus chinensis increased signi cantly, but then gradually decreased [17]. The results of this study showed that the antioxidant enzymes T-AOC and T-SOD in high temperature group and low salt group were increased to varying degrees, and the activities of antioxidant enzymes T-AOC and T-SOD in high temperature and low salt stress group were the highest.…”

“…Additionally, within the normal range, elevated platelet count correlates with increased arterial stiffness in young and middle-aged individuals (14). A retrospective analysis of 2056 intensive care units (ICU) patients associate thrombocytopenia with acute respiratory distress syndrome and death (15).…”
