Low source current-ripple high gain boost converter

Abstract: This paper presents analysis and design of low source current ripple high-gain boost converter. The proposed converter exhibits higher voltage gain, almost double, in comparison to the well-established conventional boost converter. A steady-state analysis is made, and then converter elements design expressions are established. These design expressions are then used to design a 24 to 100 V, 50 W prototype.
