“…Moreover, a peak ME coefficient of 152 mV cm −1 Oe was obtained at an applied dc bias magnetic field of 1000 Oe. In a similar pursuit of fabrication of lead-free ME composites, Yang et al [64] and Wang et al [65] synthesized BaTiO 3 -CFO-BaTiO 3 and BaTiO 3 -BiY 2 Fe 5 O 12 -BaTiO 3 layered structures respectively, using a similar procedure as employed by Islam et al however, the final sintering was carried out at 1100 • C for 2 h. A maximum transverse ME coefficient of 135 mV cm −1 Oe and 14.36 mV cm −1 Oe was obtained at an applied dc bias field of 2600 Oe and 600 Oe, respectively for the former and the latter. Later, to increase the Curie temperature of BTO based ceramic, BTO/BNT-CFO-BTO/BNT composite was synthesized under the same conditions, which yielded the highest quasi-static ME coefficient of 113.1 mV cm −1 Oe at around 1100 Oe [66].…”
