Performance of a compact impact-deflection anemometer is evaluated over the speed range of 50.8 to 716 feet per minute. The tests were performed in the NBS Low Velocity Airflow Facility which provides a uniform flow of low turbulence and utilizes a laser velocimeter as the velocity standard.17.
