Magnetic field effect in organic light-emitting diodes based on Co spin polarization source

Abstract: 摘要 采用铁磁金属Co与有机半导体Alq 3 接触, 使电子从Co自旋极化源层注入到Alq 3 层, 成功制备出了四种不同 厚度钴膜的有机电致发光器件. 器件的基本结构为ITO/MoO 3 (5 nm)/NPB(60 nm)/Alq 3 (80 nm)/Co(x nm, x=0, 1, 2, 3)/CsCl(0.6 nm)/Al(120 nm), 在室温下(295 K), 测量了四种器件的光电性能和磁电致发光(Magneto-electroluminescence, MEL); 在不同的温度下, 测试了Co膜厚为1 nm器件的MEL数据. 实验结果发现: 常温下, 随着Co膜厚的增 加, 器件的MEL曲线呈现出在低磁场(|B|<50 mT)下快速上升, 在高磁场(|B|>50 mT)下缓慢上升, 最终MEL曲线达 到饱和的规律; 并且4号器件(Co=3 nm)的光电性能表现最优, 最大亮度达到了46260 cd/m 2 ; 在温度95和45 K下, 2号器件(Co=1 nm
