Abstract:Due to substantial mass transfer resistance and a lack of control over the solvothermal condition in the confined microchannels of wood, in situ growth of metal−organic frameworks (MOFs) in bulky wood is severely suppressed by existing synthetic approaches. This limitation results in the production of MOF-impregnated wood (MOF@wood) with uneven MOF distributions and extremely low MOF loadings, thereby significantly restricting their adsorption-associated applications. To address these challenges, a magnetic in… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
