Magnetization and relativistic Landau-type quantization from Lorentz symmetry violation by fixed vector background
K. Bakke,
H. Belich
Abstract:From a background of the Lorentz symmetry violation determined by a fixed time-like four-vector, a nonuniform electric field and a uniform magnetic field, we show that a relativistic Landau-type quantization can be achieved. We also analyze this relativistic Landau-type system under the influence of an infinity wall. Then, from the energy eigenvalues, we discuss the magnetization and the magnetic susceptibility at zero temperature.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
