Magneto-optical imaging plate with backlight for quantitative measurement of magnetic field distribution

Abstract: We develop a light source, a polarizing film, and a highly bismuth-substituted neodymium iron garnet film which exhibits a large Faraday rotation angle of 11 deg., prepared on a ϕ150 mm diameter glass substrate by the metal-organic decomposition method.
