Mainstream or Marginalized? How German and Dutch Newspapers Frame LGBTI

Abstract: Although historically ignored or stigmatized by mainstream media, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) people have increasingly become visible. However, increased visibility does not necessarily translate to more inclusive reporting.
