Abstract:The case involves a 74-year-old male with type 2 diabetes (T2D), hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetic kidney disease (DKD) at nephropathy stage G3b. He has been receiving treatment with insulin and anti-hypertensive agents (AHAs). In July 2021, his HbA1c was elevated to 7.9%. As a result, the extent of his low carbohydrate diet (LCD) was increased, and insulin doses were raised.
