Major Depressive Disorder and the “Leaky Gut” Post Cholecystectomy

Abstract: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is the most common mental health disorder in the United States as well as all over the world. According to CDC, MDD affects more than 16.1 million American adults, or about 6.7% of the U.S. population age 18 and older in a given year.
