Abstract: Background The national malaria control programmes in Cambodia, Nepal, and Bhutan aim to achieve malaria elimination by 2025–2030. While the vivax malaria burden remains challenging, the consistent decline in falciparum malaria in these countries over the last five years suggests that the goal is achievable.
