Abstract:For many clinicians, imaging systems appear to be a new phenomenon of the information age, but their roots date back to the 19th century. The study by Sanghvi et al, published in this issue of Cancer Cytopathology, is a timely and impressive article examining a new image‐based system for diagnosing urothelial carcinoma in urinary cytology.
