Abstract: Background. Marshall syndrome, also known as the PFAPA syndrome, is an autoinflammatory disease characterized by periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, and cervical adenitis. This widely common pediatric autoimmune disease often remains undiagnosed due to a lack of knowledge about its clinical features.
