Mass Transfer Into a Free Liquid Surface Effected by Submerged Jets

Abstract: A theoretical and experimental analysis of mass transfer into a turbulent free liquid surface effected by submerged jets has been presented. Theoretical considerations concentrated on hydrodynamic characteristics of the system which enabled us to derive the radial velocity distribution in the surface jet flow.
