Massive vector particles tunneling from Kerr and Kerr–Newman black holes

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the Hawking radiation of massive spin-1 particles from 4-dimensional Kerr and Kerr-Newman black holes. By applying the Hamilton-Jacobi ansatz and the WKB approximation to the field equations of the massive bosons in Kerr and Kerr-Newman space-time, the quantum tunneling method is successfully implemented. As a result, we obtain the tunneling rate of the emitted vector particles and recover the standard Hawking temperature of both the two black holes.

“…The answer is a quantum theory of gravity, which is the biggest problem in theoretical physics. One common feature among various quantum gravity theories, such as string theory, loop quantum gravity, and noncommutative geometry, is the existence of a minimum measurable length [66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73][74]]. An effective model for realizing the minimum length is the GUP, based on which the first generalized uncertainty relationship was proposed by [68], to solve the problem of quantum gravity.…”

“…However, mostly calculations just focused on the spherical symmetric black holes. The example of discussion about radiation from a nonspherical black hole is radiation from a rotating black hole (Kerr-Newman black hole) (Ma, 2008;Li & Chen, 2015). However, Umetsu's work show that calculation of temperature in the Kerr-Newman black hole can be simplified just in two dimensional problems (Umetsu, 2010).…”
