Abstract:Mathematical interpretation of the elastic wave diffraction in circular
cylinder coordinates is in the focus of this paper. Firstly, some of the
most important properties of Bessel functions, pertinent to the elastic wave
scattering problem, have been introduced. Afterwards, basic equations, upon
