Mathematical model for selecting the best technology for restoring road construction machines

Abstract: The article considers the problem of effective and high-quality restoration of road construction machines and equipment. Operational features of reliable and high-precision equipment for road and construction works require high costs for maintaining the operability of machines. Since mainly foreign-made equipment is used, replacing worn-out, especially functionally important parts is very costly. To ensure the requirements of reliable and safe operation of road construction machines, a systematic approach to s… Show more

“…The volume of bridge construction performed over the past 10-12 years has already exceeded the corresponding value for the previous 20 years (Poltava & Korchagin, 2019). In recent years, numerous studies were conducted in the field of improving the reliability and efficiency of the operation of road and construction facilities and vehicles, development, design and implementation of traffic control systems (Belyaev , 2020).…”

“…Centralized restoration of worn-out components and components should be organized at the level of large-scale or mass production, and their replacement, when restoring the performance of automobile engines, at enterprises with a significantly lower concentration of work [3,5]. Such maintenance can be performed at centralized maintenance bases that would serve several motor transport companies, and would have simple equipment for disassembly and assembly and related work.…”

“…Economic study inputs include the service life in years for each piece of equipment (which is computed from the manufacturer-specified operational hours) and interest rate. Thus, the study shall include all lifecycle costs associated with each equipment [13] [14].…”
