Abstract:In this article, the effect of TiC nanopowder particles on the wear resistance of low-alloy steel 35XGCL (analog is JIS G 5111) is mathematically modeled. First of all, the composition for liquefaction in an electric arc furnace was calculated. 5 and 10% TiC nanopowder particles were added to the alloy as a modifier before pouring liquid metal into the ladle.
