Matrix gas flow through ‘impermeable’ rocks – shales and tight sandstone

Abstract: Abstract. The effective pressure sensitivity of gas flow through two shales (Bowland and Haynesville shales) and a tight gas sandstone (Pennant sandstone) was measured over the typical range of reservoir pressure conditions.
