Measuring fiber orientations in nonwoven web images using corner detection by Bézier fitting curves

Abstract: This paper describes a novel method for measuring fiber orientations in nonwoven web images by using Bézier fitting curves to detect corners of fiber edges and to separate crossing fiber edges.
