“…In addition to the mechanical effects generated by the gas nucleus, the ultrasonic horn, an acoustic device with an operating frequency of 20–40 kHz and a pressure amplitude of more than several hundred kilopascals at the horn tip, also produce direct mechanical destruction and strong cavitation, which provides the possibility of destroying tumors by increasing tumor antigen exposure to improve the efficiency of the immune response [ 137 ].
