Medium composition overturns the widely accepted sulfate‐dependent repression of desulfurization phenotype in Rhodococcus qingshengii IGTS8

Abstract: Microbial desulfurization has been extensively studied as a promising alternative to the widely applied chemical desulfurization process. Sulfur removal from petroleum and its products becomes essential, as the environmental regulations become increasingly stringent.
