Megavolt All-Solid-State FID Pulse Generators for Accelerator Applications

Abstract: A new series of high voltage all-solid-state pulse generators with the pulse duration of from several nanoseconds to several microseconds has been developed. Voltage amplitude of output pulses can be from tens of kilovolts to 1 megavolt. Pulse repetition rate can reach 1 kHz. The pulsers are manufactured using high voltage FID switches. Output voltage is adjustable in range from 20 to 100% of maximum amplitude without any change of rise time and pulse duration. Jitter is not more than 100 ps. Model FPG 1000-1M… Show more
