Abstract: 1996 war die Welt noch in Ordnung. In einem Artikel mit dem Titel »Mythos Netz« fasste das Nachrichtenmagazin Der Spiegel die optimistischen Szenarien, naiven Hoffnungen und raunenden Befürchtungen zusammen, die sich an die nunmehr in den (bundesdeutschen) Mainstream eindringende »weltweite Datenverbindung Internet« 2 knüpften -um zu resümieren, dass trotzdem alles irgendwie beim Alten bleiben werde, denn nur eine nerdige Minderheit habe doch überhaupt Lust, sich »auf den elektronischen Straßen« zu »tummeln«. … Show more
