Merged contact layer in adhesion mechanics

Abstract: Predicting bond strength is the most common task in adhesion mechanics. To solve these problems, a contact layer model which describes the interaction of the substrate and adhesive layers, can be used. With the use of this model, which provides calculating the inhomogeneous stress-strain state of adhesive joints, a wide range of problems has been solved.
