Mesenchymal stromal cell encapsulation in uniform chitosan beads using microchannel emulsification

Abstract: Mesenchymal stromal/stem cells hold potential in repairing damaged tissue through paracrine effects. Their delivery though injectable biodegradable microbeads can improve cell retention and survival at the infusion site.
