Metabolism in Fungal Pathogenesis

Abstract: Fungal pathogens must assimilate local nutrients to establish an infection in their mammalian host. We focus on carbon, nitrogen, and micronutrient assimilation mechanisms, discussing how these influence host -fungus interactions during infection.
