Metabolomic and microbial changes reveal the biotransformation of Calotropis gigantea into silage

Abstract: Background: We recently reported that Calotropis gigantea could be used as a potential functional feed additive to specifically inhibit the detrimental rumen protozoa without impairing the fermentation traits.
