Metal complexes as potential agents for neutralizing free radicals: a review of in vitro studies

Abstract: Metal complexes due to their antibacterial, antifungal, antitumor and antioxidant properties have been extremely studied today. A large number of metal complexes have the ability to neutralize free radicals, which most often occur as a result of metabolic processes in the body, smoking, exposure to radiation and chemical substances.
