“…6. Dependences of I m on U p for P1(1,2), P2 (3,4), and P3 (5,6) in the range of the a (1,3,5) and d (2,4,6) processes; insert shows the same dependences for the high temperature TSDC peak for P1(1), P2(2), and P3(3).…”

“…The aims of this work are as follows: (1) to study the molecular dynamics of the P1 -P3 systems by DS and TSDC methods, (2) to identify the molecular mechanism of the observed processes, (3) to determine the influence of ion aggregate (multiplets) formation on molecular mobility of ionomer chains and side mesogenic groups.…”

“…In 1997, Tantrawong and co-worker had successfully synthesized metal containing liquid crystal with the potential application in optical storage [6]. Liu and co-worker have found that metallomesogens have widespread use as stationary phase in gas chromatographic application due to the benefits of coupling the usual analytical strengths of gas chromatography with the unique structure and shape selectivity properties of the liquid crystalline phase [7].…”
“…Metallomesogens are used as templates of mesoporous materials [1][2][3], in production of monomolecular magnets [4], and in development of biomembranes, drug delivery systems and nanocomposites [5]. Furthermore, they are used for creation of information display systems [6][7][8], components of optical glass with defined properties [9], and as stationary phases in gas chromatography [10,11].…”
Liquid-crystalline mono-and binuclear complexes of Fe(III) based on pentadentate Schiff's base, N,N'-bis(2-hydroxy-4-octadecyloxybenzyliden)-1,7-diamino-4-azaheptane, have been prepared for the first time. The effects of counterions of the binuclear complexes and of the monodentate ligand in the mononuclear complexes on formation of the mesophase as well as phase transitions temperatures and the range of the mesophase existence have been demonstrated. EPR studies have revealed the possibility of spin-crossover properties of the complexes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
