Metamaterial enhanced novel plasmonic biosensor for specific detection of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein

Abstract: In this study, we theoretically propose a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor composed of a plasmonic gold film, double negative (DNG) metamaterial, graphene-MoS2−COOH Van der Waals heterostructures and gold nanoparticles (Au NPs).
