Metamaterial loaded aperture coupled biodegradable star‐shaped dielectric resonator antenna for WLAN and broadband applications

Abstract: The design and development technique for the enhancement of bandwidth and gain using biodegradable star‐shaped dielectric resonator antenna (SDRA) electrified by two cross‐coupled apertures for broadband applications is presented in this article. The SDRA is fabricated using biodegradable PLA, which is a special type of polymer and made from renewable resources instead of nonrenewable petroleum‐based resources using additive manufacturing technique. Broad bandwidth of 37% is achieved by modifying rectangular d… Show more

“…Appropriate GO purification and modification can increase the efficacy of drug loading in GO and optimize adsorption/desorption kinetics with minimal toxicity . The rich GO surface chemistry facilitates functionalization with diverse molecular compounds, such as dyes, inorganic and organic (DNA, single‐stranded RNA, gene) substances, polymers, and luminescent or fluorescent particles; thus enabling a synergistic effect of drug delivery and bioimaging of a carrier platform. Immobilization with drug molecules can regulate GO dispersal in water or in the cell culture media, reduce cell/tissue toxicity, and induce accumulation in target cells and tissues .…”
