Microalbuminuria Is the Earliest Predictive Marker for Microvascular Complications and Cardiovascular Risk in Patients With Diabetes, a Randomized Study Conducted in Rural Population of Bankura District, West Bengal.

Abstract: Diabetic nephropathy is one of the major microvascular complications in both type1 and type2 diabetes. It is also a risk factor for development of macrovascular complications including atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident (CVA) and peripheral vascular diseases.
