Microalgae as agents for upcycling industrial wastewater: energy patents and scientific literature overview

Abstract: The oil/gas, ethanol, biodiesel and biogas industries generate wastewater known as produced water, vinasse, crude glycerin and methanogenic digester´s based effluents, respectively.
