Abstract:Microalgal biotechnologies attract considerable research investment on a
premise that microalgae cultivation is highly productive and
sustainable. Unfortunately, and despite decades of commercial experience
and research investment, only a few commercial microalgae cultivation
and processing facilities are currently in operation. Microalgae
