Microbial Lipid Production through Integrated Anaerobic-Aerobic Biotreatment Process: An Urban-Based Biorefinery Concept

Abstract: Current operations within wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), particularly the anaerobic digestion and activated sludge processes, can be tapped for production of microbial lipids.
