Abstract:Microplastics are ubiquitous in aquatic environments, and in most marine environments, copepods are the main metazoans. The ingestion of microplastics by zooplankton is linked to various stresses, including oxidative stress, reduced reproductive capacities, and even mortality in nauplii.
